Need Advice, Planning

Things are coming together.

A big moment occurred yesterday. I booked my flights, the ones both to Europe, and back. On February 16th I will fly out of Grande Prairie,  go to Toronto, and then fly into London. My entire trip, from the day I fly out, to the day I fly back, will last 103 days.

It’s starting to become more and more of a reality as each item and thing I will need comes together. I now have my backpack, my hiking boots, my waterproof jacket is ordered, I’m borrowing a voltage convertor/plugs, and all the other items I need are slowly coming together.

I have my general route planned out, with major cities and countries I would like to go to mapped, and now that I have my flight dates set, I can refine those even more. I’m still looking for suggestions and ideas of places to go/things to do if anyone has any.

My “Must Go” countries are:

  • England
  • Scotland
  • Ireland
  • France
  • Spain
  • Italy
  • Greece
  • Germany
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Switzerland

My “I’d Love To” countries are:

  • Portugal
  • Turkey
  • Bulgaria
  • Hungary
  • Czech Republic
  • Luxembourg
  • Netherlands
  • Liechtenstein
  • The Vatican
  • Denmark
  • Sweden

There is still so much to get done and I have no idea what I’m doing but hopefully the bumps along the way won’t be too major…

  1. I recently came back from a Europe trip and my favourite cities were Barcelona (Spain), Bern (actually everywhere in Switzerland will be amazing!). Too bad you’ve already booked your flights because I’d recommend a pit stop in Iceland at the end of your trip before you come home. Feel free to browse through the photos of my trip that I’ve posted up! 🙂
